Our very own Dr Todd Hunt is participating in the 2012 Dancing with the Local Stars competition.


Identical shows will be held at the downtown Holiday Inn Muskegon Harbor hotel on the evenings of Feb. 24-25, with an afternoon matinee Feb. 25.

Former Chronicle staff writer Bill Iddings and well-known radio personality Britta Cleveland will emcee the event.

Three awards will be given at each show — the “Critic's Choice” for technical merit, the “Best of Show” by audience vote, and “People's Choice” based on the amount of money a couple raises.

Purchase tickets Thursday and thereafter by calling Mary Kendall, the event chairperson, at 231-798-4244 or emailing kendall.mary@comcast.net. Evening performances are $40; matinee admission is $25.

Food pantries in need of assistance are being asked to apply at womensdivision.org before Jan. 15.
